100 LINE
In the rear axle the most important news
The range of frames manufactured for the 100 category has been integrated
with the introduction of the so-called “M” model. This frame version is
manufactured with tubes having a diameter of 32 mm and characterized by
a special design of the central part. Because of the solutions adopted the
forecarriage and the rear axle can be traced back to the effective R line,
which will represent the leading range also for the 2004 agonistic activity.
R – 2004 models are available both with 31 mm and with 32 mm tubes. In comparison
with the past season, the most important evolutions are present in the rear
axle. The axle flanges have been changed and have a new design, and in particular
the rear cross member is now inclined, while in the 2003 range it was upright.
In the forecarriage the steering column connection is new as well, and now
its shape is circular and no longer triangular. As far as accessories are
concerned, the whole “racing” line is equipped with Freeline top items.
The original design of the pods and the details characterizing each single
accessory make the look of all Birel models definitely attractive. In terms
of technology, the research made by Birel technical centre, the extremely
high constructive standards, the quality control and the development carried
out by the Racing department make the difference in each single Birel item.
