Rear double 32 mm diameter master cylinder calliper
secured to axle mount. Guided pads and return springs
with safety system to prevent pads coming off the
calliper. Cast-iron brake disc.
New rear brake discs are fitted on Motorsport
models. The self-ventilating disc is different:
it has a very narrow friction surface to ensure
that the pads are always even, apply the same
brake force and wear uniformly. The new calliper
adopts a hydraulic circuit with external master
cylinder to prevent overheating the fluid in circuit
also when stressed to prevent high temperatures
which could make operation critical.
Freeline HQ series hubs, crown carriers and solid
aluminium brake carriers.
Removable 10 litre fuel tank, anchored by a wing
screw which securely fastens it to the steering
risers. The shape of the tank fits into the riser
structure perfectly for secure fastening.
R
series chassis present a traditional structure and are the development of
the past series which reaped many successes on national and international
levels. Two class 100 models: R31X with 30 mm and 32 mm diameter tubes and
R32X with 32 mm diameter tubes only. The difference at a glance between the
two springs is that the latter is missing a second tube on the left side.
This chassis is adopted also in the 125 class, where it is identified by the
presence of a letter "C" in front of the code (e.g. CR32X). This
model adopts a lateral bar on the left side for increased rear rigidity, where
required. The chassis structural frame is made of high quality steel alloy
tubes. Appropriate thermal treatments give the chassis the very best characteristics.
Materials are constantly monitored and tested in laboratories. The welding
process is carefully researched to ensure maximum structural resistance and
uniformity in production. All bodies are inspected at the end of the production
cycle to ensure the high quality level of each product.
