Q series chassis feature an alternative structure. From a technical point
of view, this chassis series does not follow the traditional route, but comes
up with extremely innovative ideas.
Q series chassis fit 30 mm and 32 mm diameter tubes and are the result of
an extremely ambitious project: to correctly balance weight and stiffness
for top performance on all tracks and in all conditions. A detail of this
new design is the double closed triangle structure to increase rigidity in
the middle area and separately manage front and rear torsion. This chassis
is also adopted in the 125 class, where it is identified by the presence of
a letter "C" in front of the code (e.g. CQ32X). The chassis's structural
frame is made of high quality steel alloy tubes. Appropriate thermal treatments
give the chassis the very best characteristics. Materials are constantly monitored
and tested in laboratories.
The welding process is carefully researched to ensure maximum structural resistance
and uniformity in production. All bodies are inspected at the end of the production
