  Montanari and Schmitdler official drivers.

125 ICC was one of the categories in which Birel Racing competed officially. Drivers were Christian Montanari, Italian championship category spotlight chaser, and German driver Schmitdler. Christian was rightfully a hot favourite before the season started and was one of the first in the first race.

  He came an excellent second in race 2 but an unlucky weekend for the second race in the Czech Republic forced the driving talent from San Marino to downsize his ambitions. The final race was not wonderful and the title was won by Alessandro Sferrella.
