Competitive
in all categories.
Italy spells karting. The most prestigious manufacturers
and the drivers who have won the most are Italian. These
are the premises for the Italian Open Championship and
the great classic events, such as the Lonato Winter Cup
and "Torneo delle Industrie" in Parma, significant
test benches for would-be champions who are given the
opportunity to meet the most competitive teams in high
technical and racing content events.

These
events are excellent opportunities for testing materials
and drivers who are in full view and on the sidelines
at international events.
Many Birel drivers have shown their worth in these events
in all categories, from ICA Junior in which Marco Mapelli
fought for the Open title to the last race and young promises,
such as Tedeschini, who often attract attention to the
themselves. Michele Fanetti is a 100 ICA leader, like
Davide Gaggianesi in FA.
Christian Montanari dominated the 125 ICC Open Season
while Gianpaolo Viani won the "Torneo delle Industrie"
trophy.
