Since
1995 the Birel Racing Department has been organised with
a specific structure, closely linked to the Group's Headquarters
and Marketing Department. Birel Motorsport develops all
new technical details and models for standard production
at the track and ensures an image return that only racing
and competitions can offer.
The department is directed by Ronni Sala and counts a
staff of approximately 15, including skilled technicians
who are capable of translating drivers' indications and
acquired data into crucial added value for the company.
The racing department is housed in an area of over 800
square meters at the Lissone plant where the material
needed for the races is managed and prepared.

Nothing
is left to chance. Approximately 80 test days are planned
during each season to develop the solutions needed for
top performance. Birel Motorsport officially competes
in two of the top expressions of karting, the FSA 100
class World Championship and the FC-ICC 125 class, in
addition to various national and international events
for developing and testing.
Birel Motorsport has signed up seven drivers, including
some of the most promising talents, for these events,
in addition to two reserves and a number of would-be champions
in lower categories.
