MONZA ZY 32-A
It
respects the specifications of the Cik-Fia certification
of the ZX 32-A model, but differs from them in
the technical specifications of the pipes used
to build the body and some equipment. In fact,
after extensive tests, the material used was modified
in order to optimize its performance with medium-soft
tyres and on “rubberized” tracks,
typical conditions of international competitions.
The behaviour of the chassis is improved and made
freer without compromising its excellent curve-handling
and braking stability. The pipe diameter remains
at 32 mm and one of the few visible modifications
is the bearing support flange that allows more
rear control. The front-end spindles are also
new and allow for the casing of the front brakes
and the eccentric bushing which provides quicker
and easier control. In reference to the rear braking
system, a 200 x 15 disk is planned. Standard magnesium
rims and two stabilizing bars, one anterior and
one lateral are planned. For National and International
competitions, it can be mounted with the new rear
Freeline housing (optional), and the standard
PVC adhesive kit in Monza colours is provided.
Equipment
Standard magnesium rims and the 50x2x1040 F are
planned. The eccentric external bushings in order
to facilitate control are new. All of the accessories,
among which are the hubs, are HQ Freeline, while
the housings are Cik 03 Freeline complete with
the PVC adhesive kit in Monza colours. The 320
mm steering wheel is blue and silver and includes
the Monza emblem on the upper part, while the
tank is removable as per International regulations.
Front-end brakes and the new rear Freeline housing
can be requested as options.
Brakes and flanges
The rear brakes use the tested hydraulic system
with 200x15 G disk, technically efficient and
much sought-after for its aesthetic profile. The
bearing support flange is completely new and allows
for the variation of the height of the chassis,
besides further regulation of the set up.
Spindle
The 180 front spindle allows for the casing of
the front brakes (optional) which, in the competitive
arena, plays a determining role in passing. Also
new on the front-end is the eccentric bushing
which allows for easier and more practical control.
Chassis
Visually no substantial new developments are obvious;
however, they are present in the specifications
of the material used to build the body and consequently
its behaviour on the track. The diameter of the
pipes used is 32mm while the design is conventional
and favours immediate feeling for the driver and
an excellent sense of control. An anterior and
lateral stabilizing bar is planned.
