LAUDATO IS LEADING THE 125


Birel driver wins and stands out from the results list. Waldschmidt (Junior), Bocchi (ICA) and Renaudie (Formula A) are the other winners of the 3rd trial run in Jesolo.

Confirmations and news emerged from the 3rd trial of the Italian Open Masters Championship run in Jesolo. The name of Birel driver Francesco Laudato, who dominated the 125 category, stands out among the confirmations, in addition to the French driver Renaudie, who came in first once again in Formula A. On the contrary Bocchi and Waldschmidt, winners respectively of the Ica class and of the Junior category, are the absolute news, even though the Dutch driver had already drawn attention to himself widely during the latest season, attaining the 2nd position in the European Ica-Junior championship run in Angerville.

Waldschmidt outdistances Molina, while the Swiss driver Buemi, who is leading the championship, places himself only in the fifth position. Birel driver Clos makes a very good performance, attaining the third step of the podium and preceding the team mate Risitano, who recovers and places himself in the third position of the general results list. The other Birel driver Mustonen makes a very good performance too, coming in 9th in the final despite his start from the 29th position due to a problem occurred during qualifying rounds.

Bocchi, Oakes and Sandri attain the first three positions in the Final of the 100 Ica, where Birel colours do not obtain great results. Filippo Tedeschini places himself in the 11th position (attaining the 5th position in the championship), preceding Gatto. In the championship Oakes outdistances Piscopo, who comes in only sixth.

Renaudie recovers in the final and outdistances the others, after a careful start and despite his relegation to the 8th position, while Ammermuller and Nyman follow him. Birel driver Davide Gaggianesi comes in 6th despite some set-up problems.

Francesco Laudato is the absolute winner of the race, preceding the team mate Manuel Cozzaglio, who makes a very good performance too. Arian Kievitsbosh is able to attain the third step of the podium during the final lap, while Ennio Gandolfi of the team Birel Motorsport comes in 7th. The former world cycling champion Laudato is the absolute leader of the general results list, where he has a 26-point lead over Sferrella.
