Welcome to the official Birel S.p.A. website. In the name of Birel philosophy, which has always been targeted to customer service and technology, we have created a karting portal: the focus is on products, debates with engineers and drivers, reviews of tracks and information on the key issues of our sport. Birel is leader on the web, too.

2003 ITALIAN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

A WIN FOR LAUDATO AND THE SECOND SUCCESS FOR COLETTI AT SARNO

ANOTHER SUCCESS: ON THE HOME TRACK BIREL CELEBRATES THE ICC CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE WON IN THE PENULTIMATE ROUND AT CORRIDONIA.

The Birel – Tm domination in the shape of Francesco Laudato in the 125 Icc category was demonstrated again at Sarno, where the driver from Cava dei Tirreni achieved his third victory of the season ahead of Sferrella and Profico. In the run up to the concluding round for the European and World Championship title, which will be held in a single round at the French track of Carole, the Birel driver is shaping up as a likely candidate for great success in a season that could further increase his already extensive list of victories. The other categories, however, had to wait until the last round before the winners could be announced. In the 100 Ica junior the Swiss driver Buemi, the championship leader, took the title although only coming in third at Sarno. The first two places were taken by the Birel drivers Coletti – his second first place after Corridonia – and Nolè. At the conclusion of season’s final race, Stefano Coletti emerged as the real star and in the run up to the 100 Ica Junior European final to be held in Italy, the expectations of a possible win for him are growing rapidly. In the 100 Ica the Danish driver Bollingtoft won both the race and the title. The Italian driver Filippo Tedeschini defended the colors of Birel in this category, finishing in second place, only one second behind the winner. In the 100 Fa the French driver Renaudie conquered the title, with Hulkemberg being announced the winner.
