Welcome to the official Birel S.p.A. website. In the name of Birel philosophy, which has always been targeted to customer service and technology, we have created a karting portal: the focus is on products, debates with engineers and drivers, reviews of tracks and information on the key issues of our sport. Birel is leader on the web, too.

INTRODUCTION OF THE OFFICIAL BIREL MOTORSPORT DRIVERS

THE NAME OF MONTOYA JR EMERGES
THE OFFICIAL DRIVERS FOR 2004 WILL INCLUDE FEDERICO MONTOYA, THE 17-YEAR-OLD BROTHER OF FORMULA 1 DRIVER WILLIAMS. ALSO AMONG THE NEWS, THE HIRING OF SAURO CESETTI.

Birel Motorsport unveils plans for the 2004 season. The Brianzola manufacturer's direct commitment will follow tradition on all fronts so as to guarantee the best development and specific solutions in all categories. Only the 100 Junior will not be handled by official internal drivers but followed by the junior Team, instead. Among the 2004 staff, the name of Federico Montoya stands out who, after being on the short list to debut in European karting as early as last season, will compete in a full program in the 100 ICA category. The young Colombian will race in the Italian and European Open category Championships. In the same category, Montoya Junior's team mates will be the European Champion of the 100 junior Nicholas Risitano, Giancarlo Mancini and Jon Lancaster. In Formula A, the important news is the agreement with Sauro Cesetti, who will compete in all the events on the calendar. At his side will be Hiroshi Humegaki and Michele Fanetti, both confirmed for the third consecutive year. On the occasion of the World Championship, Ronni Quintarelli will also join the team, who despite his engagement in the Japanese Formula 3, will also be able to compete in the 125 Super ICC World Cup. With the change, both Gandolfi and Laudato were confirmed in the category. The former will compete in the European and World Cup, while the driver from Cava dei Tirreni will also be engaged in the Italian Open Championship.
