CROXFORD WITHDRAWN FROM FA BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS

Birel Spa and it’s UK Importer ACR have withdrawn Jamie Croxford from the remaining rounds of the S1 MSA British Championships. It was always intended for Croxford to race only five out of six races of the UK series due to clashes with his European duties.

“Jamie is working very well and very hard with TM to improve and develop the TM KF1 engine and more testing is required which is making the UK calendar difficult to combine “ said Birel Motorsport President Ronni Sala, “also we have noticed that the entry in England in FA is low this year because of the old type engines and we now prefer to develop our product with Jamie for KF1 for England for 2008”

“Its always disappointing to change plans but the future is the new type engines, we will now consider whether Croxford will race in the TV Masters at PFI in August – it depends on dates. “commented ACR boss Andy Cox.
