TOMAN LIBOR THE NEW OFFICIAL BIREL DRIVER FOR LA KF1

Birel Motorsport, with the engagement of 17 year old Toman Libor, is arranging a new element of its staff in preparation for the 2008 season. The driver from the Czech Republic was promoted to the official team with a biannual contract after having played a positive season in KF2 with the New Team - Birel Pietro Sassi. In 2008 we will see him put to work in KF1 in all of the International races, starting with two classic tests at the beginning of the season: The Winter Cup and the Margutti Trophy. For him the program will provide for the progress of the WSK Series, the three races of the European championship, the Suzuka World Cup and the World category scheduled for Muro Leccese. Regarding the front engine, finally, Libor uses Iame engines thanks to the confirmed collaboration between the house of Zingonia and Birel. The choice to focus on a youth, even in this class, is consistent with the Birel strategies that, in some seasons, are supporting the importance of imposing International karting as a transition and showcase required for the F1 drivers of tomorrow. From this point of view, the registry age of pilots is crucial to make this aspect credible. These policies will promote the interests of the sponsors as well as those of the business of professional motor racing, bringing the two worlds closer in the favor of karting.
