BRUSHED THE PODIUM ALL BIREL IN 125 ICC WITH DIAMANTINI BEFORE SANI AND ARMATORE SURPASSED ONLY IN THE END BY BELLIOTTI. POSITIVE ALSO COLESELLI AND VIBERTI IN THE JUNIOR.

The track of Sarno has received the Finals of the Italian Championship for the classes 100cc and 125cc. For the Birel colors it has been the chance to confirm an excellent competitiveness in class 125 Icc where, thanks to an optimal Mark Diamantini (assisted for this occasion by the team of Francisco Laudato), the Italian title was conquered.
The superiority of the Birel technical material was confirmed also by the 2nd place of Flavio Sani (CV Racing) and by the great contest of Armatore (Vital Kart) who, only to two turns from the end, was surpassed by Belliotti for the 3rd place. The all Birel Podium is therefore escaped for a breath, also in consideration of the fact that, for two incidents happened in the manche, is lacked from the first areas the best favorite of the eve, Profico, (Monza chassis), finished to the 9th final place.
The Birel colors placed themselves in great evidence also in 100 the Junior one where, a wonderful Coleselli, gained the Pre-Final after to have shone both in qualification, and in the manche. Unfortunately, however, in the Final the pilot of Bolzano was stopped by one small escape of track and by the successive breach of the motor.
Unlucky also Viberti, young promise of Birel who, after to have obtained the 6th place in qualification, he was involved in two contacts and consequent withdrawals in both the manche. Gone back from the 23rd to the 6th place in the recovery contest, he was the protagonist of an ulterior thrilling run-up also in the Final: from 27th he went back until the 6th place, but to two turns from the end, one risk manoeuvre of Basiliotti ulteriorly penalized him degrading him until the 13th final place.
