VANISHES FOR VIGANÒ IN KF3
THE PILOT OF TEAM
MGM TOILS, AS THE IMPORTANT BIREL PILOTS, TO FIND THE BEST
SET UP FOR THE RENEWED CIRCUIT OF VAL VIBRATA. IN KZ2 CLASSIFICATION

Matteo Viganò introduced
himself as leader of the classification in KF3 to the last
one round of the Open Masters, but accomplice a difficult
weekend in which he toiled to find the most operative set-up
and a little misfortune (in Contest 2 a bump forced him to
the stop), he was not successful to confirm the own supremacy
in juvenile class KF3 after the success obtained in series
WSK. The young from Bergamo of the Birel team - MGM, even,
for a series of little inconvenients was forced to dispute
the recovery contest, in order to close then the Contest 1
to the 9th place. Better than him is successful to make the
direct adversary for the title Harvey, who concluded to the
2nd place behind the winner Goff. The epilogue then took place
in Contest 2 when, for a contact, Viganò had to withdraw leaving
the title to the English pilot finished to 4th place behind
Grice, Goff and Bailly. Little fortunate also Kevin Ceccon,
outside from the games for the title already in Contest 1
where he obtained the 10th place. In Contest 2, instead, the
pilot of the Gandolfi team conquered the 8th position. Positive
the test of Lorenzo Camplese, author of the 2nd time in qualification
and protagonist in the elimination’s manche. But then to the
start of Contest 1 a bump forced him outside of the track
and to the consequent one recovery from the last one, until
the 20th place. The redeem and the confirmation of the young
pilot’s potential, recently passed to the Birel colors, it
arrived then in Contest 2, where, with an exceptional recovery
and marking clock’s record reliefs, he arrived until the 7th
final place. Little fortune also for Maring Burkhard (Birel/KSB
Team) in KF2 who, if also loitered in the comparisons of Stevens,
he could still hanker the title. But unfortunately the new
track’s asphalt of Val Vibrata complicated the work also of
the German who, after to have disputed the difficult qualification’s
manche, he started from the last liner for the Contest 1.
To the end of the first Finale, therefore, he classified himself
to the 11th place, whereas Will Stevens winning the contest
closed the games for the title in advance to his favor. In
shadow in KF2 also Libor, De Conto and Turchetto who, substantially,
suffered the same problems of Burkhard, beyond to tripping
in some contact and to use the weekend in order to try some
technical solution in sight of the imminent European category
championship. In KF1, with the games for the title closed,
it was a long weekend of test for the Birel pilots: Sauro
Cesetti closed the Contest 1 (gained by Catt before Forè)
to the 7th place and Contest 2 to the 5th, whereas Croxford
was forced to the withdrawal in both the Finales. The Monza
colors, instead, were to the command of the classify of championship
with Manuel Cozzaglio in KZ2, but also in the class with the
change of speed the things have not worked as it was in the
waits. The pilot from Brescia, in fact, in Contest 1 closed
only to the 7th place because of a little happy start, while
the direct adversary Ardigò for the title classified himself
to the 2nd place behind the winner Toninelli. The pilot of
the Birel Motorsport Francesco Laudato, instead, conquered
the 3rd step of the podium preceding Manetti, Giulietti and
Piccini. The 2nd Finale therefore become decisive for the
title and it saw the first turn of events still before the
start: in pre - grill Ardigò realized to have a tire that
lost pressure and he rushed in repair zone for replace it.
The agitation of these moments, probably, carried the staff
of his team to aid the mechanic attributed. On such circumstance,
prohibited by the regulation (that allows the only mechanic
of the pilot the technical participations), it was activated
a verification by the sports commissioners at the end of the
contest. In any case Ardigò is successful to catch up the
start grill and, using a more turn of reconnaissance granted
by the contest director, he also resumed the own position
on the alignment. The contest, therefore, took the way with
all the protagonists in the conditions to playing the own
chance. After a first phase in which Laudato found the Toninelli’s
command, then Piccini carried to the 1st place who lead until
the end. Behind him Toninelli become part newly, while Marco
Ardigò coquered the 3rd step of the podium winning the title
virtually. Laudato closed his contest to the 5th place, leaving
to pass in the last phases the parter of team Cozzaglio, who
finished to the 4th place. The general classification with
this ranking would reward in key championship Ardigò, but,
in the end of the contest it was placed sub iudice because
the verifications on the happened episode to Ardigò in pre
grill carried the sports commissioners to exclude him from
the contest. The team of the pilot fro Brescia interposed
appeal freezing the situation, therefore to know who will
be the winner between Ardigò and Cozzaglio (virtually become
the winner of the title with the exclusion of Ardigò) it will
have to attend the end of the Federal proceeding with the
several degrees of judgment.
