QUALIFICATIONS EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP KF3 - KF2 SOSNOVA (CZ), ESSAY (BETWEEN), GENK (BE)

ALL QUALIFIED THE TOP DRIVERS BIREL

WITH THE ONLY EXCLUSION OF THE UNLUCKY VIGANÒ, ALL THE IMPORTANT BIREL PILOTS QUALIFY FOR THE EUROPEAN FINALES. IN EVIDENCE BERETTA AND CAMPLESE IN KF3, BEYOND TO DE CONTO AND PATRONO (MONZA) IN KF2.

Positive indications for the Birel colors from the weekend of qualification for the European Championships of classes KF3 and KF2. First all the important pilots of in contest with the Birel or Monza colors earned the goal qualifying for the respective Finales, that one of Salbris (5th August) of the KF2 and that one of the Sarno the 2nd September for the KF3.
But above all protrude the numbers in terms of presences regarding the total of the enrolled and the places on the podium gained. Remarkable, in this way, the contest of Sosnova: in KF2 11 Birel pilots and 3 of the new Monza line disputed the Finale, representing in total the 42% of the finalists. At the same time, in all the Finales at least one Birel pilot gained the podium.
On the higher step in KF3 went up Matteo Beretta, winner of the Contest 2 (and 3rd in the Contest 1), but also Lorenzo Camplese (started from the pole in the Finales) placed in great evidence conquering the place of honor in Contest 1 and 6th place in Contest 2. Qualified also Ceccon (author of the 1st time in qualification), Coleselli, Bauman, Torsellini and all the pilots of the juvenile programme connected to the Easykart Trophy: Midrla, Francescon and Agostini.
About the same programme Paolo De Conto placed himself in great evidence in KF2, author of the 2nd time in qualification and of a double 2nd place in the Finales behind Holds. Always in KF2, among the others, positives also Libor, Antonfield, Bas, Burkhard and Turchetto, while a particular citation merits the contest of Giacomo Patron. The test pilot of the Birel Motorsport was in contest with the Monza colors and, already from the qualifications, he entered among the suitors to the absolute victory.
But in the Pre-Finale he broke a part already in the first phases, beyond to collecting 33 penalties, he was forced to start from the end for the 2nd Finale. After a first lap where he went to the 30th place, Patron began an incredible recovery which, after beyond 15 surpasses, carried it to the 9th absolute position that gave him the last place available among the 22 qualified.
In the French selection disputed in Essay, instead, they earned the ticket for Sarno in KF3 Mourey (Birel - Tm) and Antunes (Monza-Vortex), while in KF2 the English Alexander Lynn qualified himself. The victories of the Finales are obtained by Harvey and Grice in KF3, whereas in KF2 stood out Stevens and Tarancon. To Genk in Belgium, finally, the victories in the Finales are obtained in KF3 by Picariello and Gatting, whereas in KF2 De Brababder has prevailed both in Contest 1, and in Contest 2. Among the young Birel pilots of the KF3 Sarno Lars Sorensen will go to the Finale, while in KF2 they qualified themselves for Salbris Ryall and Frjns of the GKS team and Mika Kunranta.
