MICHIANA
RACEWAY PARK PREPARES FOR FIRST RACE OF 2008
TRACK CONTINUES
TO INVITE NEW FAMILIES TO THE WORLD OF KART RACING
NORTH LIBERTY,
IN (April 24, 2008) – This Sunday will mark the opening
event of the Michiana Raceway Park Championship Series for
2008. The karting facility located just 12 miles west of South
Bend, IN in nearby North Liberty has been host to thousands
of kart racers over the years and people curious about what
karting has to offer.
“We have worked very hard to prepare for the season,”
said Garry Lobaugh, President of MRP Motorsport, the company
that operates the track. “Now that the weather is nice,
we expect great turn-outs and lots of friendly families that
want to share their karting experiences with one another.”
Michiana Raceway Park (MRP) is a "5-Star Facility",
featuring a safe and positive atmosphere with a friendly staff
to service your needs while providing racers with a smooth
and efficient race program that runs on schedule. There are
also excellent viewing areas for family and friends to watch
the event including the covered Pace Pavilion picnic area.
Throw in good food and excellent amenities and MRP is the
place to go racing in Michiana!
MRP also offers several programs for those that want to get
involved in karting, including beginner karting schools, spectator
racing, kid-kart youth programs and corporate entertainment
programs.
“Karting is a great outlet for young families and young
kids,” continued Lobaugh. “Not only do we have
a nationally known youth program, but we also have several
ways to involve adults individually or in large groups through
our corporate entertainment programs.”
