EVERYTHING IS READY FOR THE BEGINNING OF THE SEASON

At Birel’s, the last tests are being performed in view of the oncoming racing season. For the whole week, the Team has been working in Lonato, where the Winter Cup is scheduled for the 20th of February, the classic date officially opening the season. The tests carried out have regarded the resolution of some technical aspects, but also the building of a good spirit between team and new drivers. In this sense, a positive surprise came from the job done by Stefano Antonucci (FA), as well as by young Hungarian (with German licence) Peter Antolfeld in the Junior class. Both attained extremely reassuring timings, in addition to having established an immediate feeling with the Birel chassis even on long runs and in the great number of race simulations performed. This important work accomplished before the season start off will continue during the weekend of the “Winter Cup” and in March at the “Margutti” in Parma. These two appointments have always proved very useful to test solutions and drivers in view of the start of the international season. Birel Motorsport’s engagement in competitions will include all events for Cik titles in the classes Ica/j, Ica, Fa and Sicc. Apart from this programme, Birel is going to participate in the Italian Open Championship, an appointment for all official drivers with the exception of Ennio Gandolfi.
