OFFICIAL NOTICE
CESETTI RENEWS
CONTRACT WITH BIREL MOTORSPORT
THE MARCHES-BORN DRIVER EXTENDS
HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH BIREL FOR TWO MORE YEARS SHORTLY BEFORE
THE START OF THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Birel officially announces the
renewal of their contract with Sauro Cesetti. The contract
with the Marches-born driver, who has been running with the
team of the Lissone-based manufacturer for the past two years,
was about to expire. Shortly before the FA World Championship,
both parties preferred to formalise the natural extension
of the agreement, which seemed quite predictable given the
excellent results and the mutual satisfaction attained so
far. In the course of this two-year collaboration, Cesetti
has become a reference point for the Birel Racing Division,
as he has taken care of most of the technical improvements
both as far as the chassis of the 100 range and the Tm engines
used by Birel Motorsport are concerned. Birel considers Cesetti’s
valuable experience and skills crucial for the racing team’s
future efforts. The Marches-born driver’s racing agenda
will still be very busy in the class 100 FA (Open, European,
World Championships, as well as some other significant races
in strategical markets) and he is also going to run the World
Cup in the Sicc. Gianluca Beggio, Team Manager of Birel Motorsport
comments on the agreement as follows:
“The renewal of Cesetti’s contract ensures our
team the important and necessary stability, both in relation
to the international racing programmes and the supporting
activities organised for our operators. His experience and
his talent are extremely stimulating for the whole team. We
are aware of the fact that our racing division is among the
best organised and skilled of the world, and it is our goal
to preserve and increase these standards. Cesetti is perfectly
conscious of our potential, so it was very easy to find and
agreement for a further two-year collaboration. We also signed
an option for the third year, as it is quite credible to presume
that we might extend the relationship even further in the
future.”
