FFSA - FRANCE CHAMPIONSHIP VARENNES, 15TH/16TH APRIL
BIREL’S
COLOURS AT THE TOP WITH MICH (125 Icc) AND QUILLET (Junior)
Once more the important French
Championship has seen Birel’s colours at the top of
the tables. In the 2nd round of the season, which was held
at Varennes, Thomas Mich won a splendid first place in the
125 Icc both in the pre-final and again in the Final. In the
125 class the extremely high standards of Birel’s technology
were once more reaffirmed, which included taking out the 100
Junior. In fact, in the junior category, Fryns (vice-title-holder
with the Birel – Gks team) prevailed, whereas in the
Final a great Christopher Quillet won ahead of Gaglione and
Fontana. The presence of 9 Birel drivers amongst the 33 finalists
confirms the company’s supremacy in the Junior class
and is a significant factor reinforcing a recurring trend
in the main championships.
