WAS DOMINATOR IN KF2 WHIT TOMAN LIBOR RISE ON THE PODIUM TOO,
BERETTA IS VERY GOOD 2° NELLA KF3, WHILE WITTMANN HAD
A GOOD RACE IN THE WEEKEND IN KF1.
The “runnig
in” continues for the new motoraization “KF- long
Life” at the classics Trofeo Margutti in Parma.
Birel Motorsport in accord with Tm (Official Engine Partner)
have continued with the development of the motorization only
with 3 official pilots: the test-driver Patrono and Turchetto
in KF2 and only the deutsch Wittmann in KF1.
The Work done by the race department, however, all Teams Birel
have carried on with development for the starting of the official
season that for the circus of international karting, starting
next on March, 25 with the first test of the Open Championship.
The motorization Iame choosed by The Team Birel–KSB,
whit Maring Burkhard, have lead the KF2: he won the pre-final
and then won the final race too with beyond 2” of advantage
over the English Champion Stevens.
Excellent too the results of Toman Libor, he was third at
the end of the race and he run with New Team–Birel,
so that the performance of Giacomo Patrono with the new chassis
Monza. The test pilot of the area racing was penalized by
a technical problem in warm-up that have forced him over to
70 place.
He rised in every heat, and so he have gained a place next-to
the top ten for the final race. During the competition, in
the end he came to the first positions and had done the best
laps to. At The and he finished in 6 position.
Positive race for Paolo De Conto, very good 8 despite a problem
with his engine that he made him fight to gain this position
In KF3 Birel a chassis was on the first row ready to play
for the win: the young Vigano of the MGM team impose himselvs
in the final race with a great autority.
But at the starting of the race he was involved in a accident.
Altought the college of team Beretta that, with an amaizing
race had concluded the race in 2 position just behind at the
sholder of the winner Jack Harvey.
In KF1 the team Birel worked all the week end with Marco Wittmann,
in particular on the motorization solution.
The Balance of the work was very incouraging:
The deutsch driver was in the 5 position in qualification
and the third position at starting greed for the start the
pre-final.
Unfortunately, in the pre-final in the first lap he had a
problem whit the engine forced him to ritire.
The result that he have obtained in the final was exceptional:
he came from the back and at the end he was finished in at
6 position despite a problem with the clutch.
The race was won by the English driver Gary Cat.
