PANAMERICAIN CIK-FIA 2007 - 2007 CIK-FIA PANAMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP
SUDAM ICC / ICC SUDAM BUENOS AIRES/RA (20-22/04/2007)
Last weekend in
Buenos Aires, Argentina was the Cik Fia Panamerican Championship
ICC Sudam and ICC Sudam Junior.
The most important
event in this continent with drivers from Brasil, Uruguay,
Chile, Peru, Bolivia,Venezuela and Argentina.
Birel was represented
in both classes with success. Since the first practice, Matias
Milla (argentine champion) was on the top of the list.
He dominates all
the free practice but with a problem in time practice started
the 3 heats from the back.
He finished the
first heat in four, the next in third and the last in second
place, that result gave him the chance to start the pre final
in the first row.
From the first
lap he dominate the pre final. For the final he led the whole
laps and won his second panamerican championship. Birel also
had a good result with the perubian Ignacio Espinosa (4 place
in the final).
In the ICC Sudam
Junior, Birel dominates the eliminatory heats, the pre final
with Rodrigo Bodetto (Argentine Jr, Champion) but he was not
lucky in the final because he had a problem with a tyre and
finish in the third place.
