VICTORIES FOR COZZAGLIO (KZ2) AND BURKHARD (KF2)

THE ITALIAN BRINGS (AGAIN) THE “MONZA” COLORS TO THE VICTORY IN COMPETITION 1, WHEREAS THE GERMAN OF THE TEAM KSB DOMINATES BOTH THE KF2 COMPETITIONS. ALSO IN EVIDENCE AGOSTINI IN THE KF3.

The 3rd round of the championship Open Masters has confirmed in great evidence under the technical profile the Birel and Monza colors. Really the new mark of Lissone house has maintained the expectations of the eve with Manuel Cozzaglio, who has conquered a decisive victory in Competition 1 marking the fast lap of the race. Very positive also Laudato who, after to be penalized for start anticipated in the first manche and accused a technical problem in the 2nd , he was forced beginning from the back areas. But the recovery arrived soon: marking record times and completing a notable series of overtakings, the pilot from Salerno is gone up again to the 3rd step of the podium. Mark Ardigò has closed between the winning Cozzaglio and Laudato, whereas Knopper and Van Dreeven respectively placed to 4th and 5th position. In Competition 2 the poleman Cozzaglio had an hesitation favoring Ardigò who, once to the command, he has succeeded in preceding the same Cozzaglio and Laudato up to the chess flag. In championship Ardigò is first, but Cozzaglio is only to 7 points: between the two leaders of the classification, both from Brescia, the next competition on the Lonato racetrack will be not to lose. Less exciting the performance of the Birel colors in KF1, where Sauro Cesetti accused persistent electric problems which have conditioned his weekend. It grows very well, instead, the motor Tm: Croxford has gotten the 6th place in Competition 1 and the 4th position in Competition 2. The success in both the competitions has gone to Gary Catt. Instead in KF2, Birel team has dominated. In qualification the Easykart driver pilot got the pole, whereas in the playoff Maring Burkhard (team KSB) won Competition 1 on Stevens and Otegui and Competition 2 beating Pivoda and Sequera. To give an idea about Burkhard performance, you are enough to think that he marked the fast turn in both the tests closing the first playoff with 4" of border on 2nd classified and Competition 2 even with 8" of advantage on Pivoda: an authentic dominion. The Birel party could be marked even more if Turchetto, in Competition two, was not stopped by a problem to the candle when he was 3rd and if, the poleman De Conto, had not broken a piece 100 meters away from the finishing line in Competition 1 while he was occupying the 5th place. Positive, instead, the 6th place of Toman Libor in Competition 2 after, in Competition 1, he was forced to the retreat with consequent departure from the 33rd place for the 2nd playoff. The red Birel has also shone in KF3 with the young Riccardo Agostini (pilot of the project to support of the young people Birel Easykart Driver program) who, after having conquered the pole, he has won 4 manches on 4 earning the 1st position to the start also of the 1st Playoff. The young pilot from Padova was preceded then by Kouzkin in competition conquering however an excellent 2nd place. Positive also Viganò who, after having discounted some problems in the manches, he is gone up again to the 8th final place. Ceccon (12th ) and Torsellini (15th ) have also obtained some points. In Competition 2 Agostinis departing from external line is arrived 7th and he has involved in the exit of racetrack that has eliminated "black Jaguar" in the first laps of competition. Left again, he is gone up again to the 11th final place. It went better to Ceccon who has conquered an excellent 6th place continuing positively the development of the Tm motor. Coleselli has earned also a point departed by the back areas, whereas the victory has again gone to Kouzkin who has preceded Giovinazzi. The next race of the Championship Open is scheduled on the Lonato racetrack in the weekend of 10th June.
