WSK
- INTERNATIONAL KARTING SERIES - SALBRIS, 3RD JUNE –
ROUND 4
MATTEO
VIGANÒ AFTER VICTORY IN KF3
Next weekend
the 4th race of the WKS, the International Karting Championship
sponsored by FIA, will be held on the French track of Salbris;
many of the protagonists of the top races will take part.
The participating categories will be the KF3, as usual one
of the most lively both in terms of professional racing and
in terms of participants, the KF2 and the KZ2. The WSK’s
format is meeting with increasing success from pundits, both
for the great services offered to drivers and for the ability
(in contrast with the Italian Open Series) to bring top kart
races to important commercial regions, such as France and
Spain. In sports terms the fans of Birel’s colours will
especially follow the junior KF3 category. Matteo Viganò
(Team MGM) is in fact at the top of the tables and is aiming
to win a race which could launch him towards the first important
title of his young career. Also to be followed in the KF3
category are the Ceccon-Agostini couple from the team Gandolfi,
who have already both climbed the podium of an International
race and are now after a first victory. They will be facing
the usual opponents, among whom Kouzkin and Suvanto. The French
race will be broadcast by RaiSport (satellite and terrestrial
digital) as part of a 40-minutes programme Friday 8th June
at 17:30. Other reports will be broadcast as part of Odeon
Motori (on Odeon TV, Tuesday at 20:05 and Wednesday at 13:30)
and Stop & Go, on UnoSat – Sky 862 on Friday at
21:30. The complete programme of the event can be viewed on
the official website www.wsk.it, which also publishes all
tables in real time. |
