FEDERICO MONTOYA

AGE: 18 years old

CURRICULUM. He began competing late but immediately dominated the American preparatory categories, demonstrating that its in his blood. 2004 will be his first season as a professional and his performance in the winter trials put him immediately among the top contenders. He will probably display some inexperience in the scrimmages but will surely stand out on many occasions.

NICHOLAS RISITANO
Category: 100 ICA
AGE: 16 years old

CURRICULUM. Last season he dominated the 100 ICA Junior European Championship run in Corridonia. He is among the most talented young people and in 2004 will pass to the 100 ICA also competing in the Italian Open Championship as well as the European championship in his category.

JON LANCASTER
Category: 100 ICA
AGE: 15 years old

CURRICULUM. He is the young revelation of English Karting. In 2003, he competed in both the English and Belgian Championships in the 100 ICA/Junior category (respectively 3rd and 2nd). He was also among the top finishers of the European finals in Corridonia. For 2004, he earned the title of office driver and will complete in a complete program in the 100 ICA.

MICHELE FANETTI

AGE: 18 years old

CURRICULUM. He won the Italian Open Championship of the 100 ICA in 2002 and represents one of the most promising drivers in Italian karting. Last season, a little inexperience was taken for granted in his debut in the Formula A, but this year he has all the numbers to be a winner.

SAURO CESETTI

AGE: 30 years old

CURRICULUM. His curriculum boasts many prestigious rankings and he was two times vice-champion of the world. His career lacks the most prestigious achievement and this is the objective he stated on his arrival at Birel. His program includes the continental and world Formula A Championships, but he will also participate in the 125 Super ICC World Cup.

HIROSHI HUMEGAKY

AGE: 33 years old

CURRICULUM. He placed absolute 5th in the 2001 FSA World Championships and last season conquered the Japanese title in the category. He will be among the lead drivers for Dunlop tires and will certainly be among the top candidates for victory.

RONNIE QUINTARELLI
Category: FA World Championships - S.ICC
AGE: 25 years old

CURRICULUM. He is a karting veteran and a member of the Birel team for two years, alternating kart races with participation in the Japanese Formula 3 Championships. In 2001, he missed the 100 FSA World Championship by a hair, finishing in 2nd place. Last year he ranked 4th in the World Championship in Sarno while his 2004 program anticipates both the 100 Formula A championships and the 125 S.ICC World Cup.

ENNIO GANDOLFI
Category: 125 S.ICC
AGE: 27 years old

CURRICULUM. He has significant experience and Junior championship title earned at the beginning of his career. He will compete in the European and World S.ICC championships in addition to participating in programmed development sessions and will some appearances in the Italian Open Championship. It is his second season as an official Birel driver and wants to make up for a 203 where he collected much less than he deserved.

FRANCESCO LAUDATO
Category: 125S.ICC
AGE: 29 years old

CURRICULUM. He is among the active drivers with one of the most prestigious curriculums: 1 championship and two European titles in the 125 super ICC category are his most prestigious achievements. In 2003, he conquered yet another Italian title and will be the driver to beat in the 125 category.
